Smokey Bear X Flylords Hoodie

If you know Merino Wool, you’ll know it’s a must-have material to have in any wardrobe. Duckworth has perfected their soft and lightweight hoodie with this merino wool so that it looks good and functions well on the river, the slopes, or a drink with friends.  Hailing from and tested in the high alpine, this American-made Montana wool hoodie was begging to boast the iconic Smokey Bear logo.

Four years ago, when Flylords relocated to the West, we witnessed firsthand the devastating effects of wildfires on local waterways and fisheries during the Grizzly Creek fire of 2020. The Colorado River, a beloved spot for us, suffered from landslides caused by erosion and runoff from the fire, impacting the entire community and local ecosystems. Since then, Flylords has made it a priority to educate our community about the significance of wildfire prevention.

Since childhood, we’ve understood the importance of Smokey Bear. Now, living in the West and witnessing the extensive impact of climate change first hand, Smokey’s significance has grown into something even more profound. 

Inspired by the courageous wildland firefighters who risk their lives to safeguard our rivers, forests, homes, and business, it was a no-brainer for the Flylords team to choose Smokey Bear for our latest collaboration in hopes to spread awareness about how we can all help prevent wildfires. 

With careful selection of 11 items to include in this Smokey Bear X Flylords collection, we hope to not only educate our audience, but give back to the Forest Service. Each item is officially licensed and gives back a percentage of all purchases to prevent wildfires and protect our land.
